The Madness Cooper S air intake system consists of a 12 gauge thick stainless steel heat shield, high flow velocity stack air filter with optional cowl mod and cleaning/re-oiling kit.
By surface mapping the underside of the hood and cutting the top of the Madness heat shield to match, the heat shield completely isolates the air filter from power robbing engine heat. Others intakes simply use a straight cut top to cut costs allowing hot air to enter the airspace. The high flow velocity stack air filter (largest in the industry) provides more airflow and 80% more filter area than the stock paper filter. What this means for you is more power and torque plus the stunning sound of the supercharger working its magic. Install time takes a mere 15 minutes and no permanent modifications are required.

In the search for more airflow people have been forced to drill their own air intake holes in the factory back panel or remove this panel entirely to achieve better airflow through the cowl vent. Mini-Madness have taken the effort out of this project by providing this custom made panel with a 5.5inch hole pre-cut and perfectly aligned with the front end of the Mini-Madness velocity stack air filter. The results are impressive.
